Accreditation

Syktyvkar State University is accredited at the 4th highest level of accreditation. This is a long-lasting process of checking the university’s documents, evaluation of the level of students’ knowledge and quality of teaching. It is a procedure for recognizing the ability of a higher education institution of a certain type to start higher education and qualification-related educational activities in accordance with the requirements of higher education standards, as well as state requirements for personnel, scientific, methodological and logistical support.

 

Being accredited, Syktyvkar State University can provide a range of guarantees and benefits (including deferment of the army). But what is more important, thanks to the accreditation, the university has got an opportunity to ensure students with diplomas of Bachelor, Specialist, Master and PG/PhD levels.

In December, 2020, Pitirim Sorokin Syktyvkar State University successfully passed the procedure of the State Accreditation. All educational programs, taught at university, were shown for check-up to their compliance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards.
